DAVID

David Neuse has been an enthusiastic photographer since 1970.  In 1988 he began his professional photography career by creating David Neuse Photography, a custom portrait studio located in Austin, Texas.  David is a member of the Professional Photographers of America and the National Association for Photoshop Professionals. Mr. Neuse's work has been published in the New Yorker, Modern Salon, Teen, FHM, Bon Appetite, House & Garden, Pageantry, and other notable publications.

 

 

SHANNON- Studio Manager, Marketing and Customer Relations,
                   and Senior Representative Program Coordinator

Shannon, David’s daughter, has worked part time for the studio since she was 8 years old. She is now a senior at St. Edwards University majoring in Public Relations (Communications). She is studio manager, and oversees and directs all phases of the operation within the studio. Shannon also oversees all of the studio’s marketing activities including the Senior Representative program.

 

 

CHRISTY- Makeup Artist

Christy has 17 years of experience as one of Austin’s premier makeup artists. She received a B.S. in Art and after teaching for 7 years, she decided that "painting people" would be fun! She spent 5 years as a Regional Makeup Artist for Chanel Cosmetics before starting her own business. Christy has been our primary contract makeup artist for 11 years. In that time, she has performed over 3000 makeup sessions in our studio and has a very loyal following with our clients for photography sessions and for events such as proms and weddings.

 

 

Kelly Neilson - Intern

Kelly is junior at St. Edward's University majoring in Photocommunications. He is considering a career in Fire Fighting after graduation while developing his photography skills in his time off.

 

 

 

 

APRIL – Intern

April is a senior at Westlake High School and came to us as intern in January 2009. She plans to attend FIT in New York City in the Fall.

 

 

 

 

KAITLYN – Intern

Kaitlyn is currently a student at ACC studying photojournalism. She came to intern at DNP in January 2009 like April, and hopes to work for National Geographic or another publication upon graduation.
