Fees and Prices

Session Fees
Session fees and makeup fees are due before the session in order to reserve your time.  Please mail a check or call with a credit card number
 

Sessions

#1     1 – 3 looks, approximately 30 minutes

Location
Off-site Photography at select locations, (such as Saltillo Plaza, Waterloo Park, Downtown Austin, and St. Edwards University campus), is available if arranged in advance. If desired, we will be glad to fix the additional fee based on our $200 per hour rate. For example, the estimated fee typically adds $100 for one site, $150 for two sites, and $200 for three.

Weather
We generally do not schedule sessions that are intended to be exclusively done on location. Our pricing structure is based on the assumption that we will shoot a studio session if the weather does not allow location work. If weather conditions prevent an intended outside shoot, these options are available:

1)      Shoot in the studio. We have numerous sets and artistic options, including some very realistic simulations of location photography.

2)      Invest in another deposit and reschedule to a later date.

Deposits
A $100 deposit is required to secure your session date. An additional $65 deposit is required for photostyling. The deposits will be refunded only if the session is cancelled or rescheduled at least TEN days in advance. One-half of the deposits will be refunded if the session is cancelled or rescheduled 48 hours in advance. Your deposit will be forfeited if the session is cancelled or rescheduled less than 48 hours before your session date.

Payment

Session Fees and Photostyling

Session and Photostyling deposits due two weeks in advance in order to reserve your session time.  The deposits may be refunded if session is rescheduled at least 10 days in advance.

Proofs

$150 nonrefundable deposit to take the proofs out of the studio for up to 14 days.

Applicable to balance on order.

Portrait Order

Full amount due at time of order if less than $300; otherwise, at least ½ total amount is due at time of order, and ½ due at time of pick-up

Retouching

 

Photographs usually do not depict people the way our eyes see them.  Facial lines and blemishes are exaggerated.  Minor wardrobe and set defects appear more pronounced and are distracting.  Because the camera transforms a 3-D person into a two dimensional image, the subject may appear slightly disproportionate and possibly heavier than he or she truly is.  Retouching allows us to present people in a much more realistic fashion.

 

Standard Retouching Applies to original image only – includes: removing blemishes, softening facial lines, removing stray hairs, removing facial shine
